Music in Community:
We welcome students  ages 7-15 who are interested in playing violin/fiddle.
We provide a nurturing and individualized environment for children to explore music in community with their peers. No previous music or violin  experience is required.

This year our program will run daily during the following schedule only, Monday-Friday, June 26-July 1. We will not have a full-day or half-day camp program this year.

-Beginning students with 1 year or less experience, please read on and follow links to register. 

All classes will be held at the Olympia Center.

Class times are as follows:

​-Beginning  Students (No prior playing experience): 9:45 am-10:30 am

*During this class, beginning students will learn about instrument care, violin and bow holds, and a few simple songs.

Beginning students must rent a violin prior to camp. Rental Info Here (please note deadlines).

- Advancing Students* (1 year or more of violin experience) 10:40 am-12:10 pm

​*Advancing students will receive two separate, 40 minute classes each day in both Violin (Classical music repertoire, ensemble playing, sight reading pieces) and
Fiddle (Folk music styles: Celtic, Old-Time, etc and ornamentation, playing by ear, ensemble playing)
